Our client is a YouTube sensation who's transformed her own financial journey from $100,000 debt to self-made millionaire. She's now built one of the go-to YouTube channels on creating financial freedom. With 750,000+ subscribers and 30 million video views, our channel empowers millions to chase their financial goals.
Where You Come In:
YouTube is the lifeblood of our business. As our Channel Manager, you'll be the critical force driving our growth and impact. Your main gig? Researching, brainstorming, scripting, and producing killer video content that delivers massive value, creates superfans, and motivates people to take action on their financial dreams. Rose needs a research ninja, content packager (think: mind-blowing thumbnails and hooks), project management wizard, editing guru, and interview coordinator. Basically, we want a trusted right-hand person who'll be our YouTube mastermind.
Responsibilities:
First 3 Months:
- Producing up to 2 long-form videos and 2 short-form videos per week, working closely with Rose to edit in a way that matches her brand voice and style. See examples here. You will be responsible for hitting certain retention metrics on each video (to be discussed with Rose).
- Overseeing the video production process, acting as a "mini project manager" for each video to make sure we meet uploading deadlines.
- Collaborating with our video editors to optimize transitions, add visual effects, sound effects, and b-roll for maximum engagement.
- Analyzing video performance data and constantly iterating on that data to improve on the next video.
- Learning Rose's style of making videos, why she structures her videos the way she does, why she picks certain video topics over others, and overall just being a sponge for the way she thinks about YouTube.
- Helping to brainstorm catchy YouTube video topics, hooks, scripts, title and thumbnail ideas.
- Researching daily what's working on YouTube, and bringing those insights to the brainstorming table and to the editing room.
3 Months and Beyond:
Everything in the section above, plus:
- Driving and owning our YouTube strategy. You will be responsible for hitting certain channel growth milestones (to be discussed with Rose).
- Hiring, training, and managing other video editors or team members to help us grow the channel as you evolve into a more strategic leadership role.
- Collaborating with our small team on projects that are meaningful for both our community and our company, pitching in wherever needed.

- You're not only highly creative with an endless supply of ideas, but you'd also have a blast executing on an idea and seeing if it performs the way you predicted it would perform.
- You like Rose's style of videos. You'd be stoked to make videos just like them while adding your creative talent to make them EVEN better.
- Human behavior is fascinating to you — you enjoy thinking about what makes people click, want to keep watching, share, like, and comment on a video.
- Bonus: Knowledge of personal finance, investing, or entrepreneurship.
- You're 10,000% reliable and organized, with a "get sh*t done" mentality. You're resourceful and figure things out, even when it's new or hard, and when you're entrusted with something, you freaking get the job done!
- You appreciate entrepreneurship, maybe even have a history of running your own business or side hustle, but you know in your heart that you work best as a full-time employee for a cool, purposeful company where your input matters and where you can hone your talents.
- You're a really good communicator — you ask questions when you need to, and if you're not sure you can make a deadline, you let the relevant people know ahead of time so we can adjust accordingly.
