This role supports a growing legal and compliance team by managing corporate governance, regulatory obligations, and operational efficiency for a company focused on transforming Medicaid services. Reporting to the General Counsel, the Paralegal, Legal Operations Analyst ensures accurate recordkeeping, drives process improvements, and enables scalable legal infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and track corporate filings, business licenses, intellectual property registrations, and maintain up-to-date corporate records
- Organize, update, and maintain legal documents, templates, policies, and compliance procedures
- Implement and support an efficient legal intake system to streamline internal requests and improve responsiveness
- Assist in reviewing third-party agreements and maintaining the contract lifecycle management system
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve legal and operational issues with minimal supervision
- Conduct research on federal and state regulations related to healthcare compliance, support documentation collection, and contribute to reporting and special projects
Qualifications
Candidates should have at least three years of experience as a paralegal in a law firm or in-house legal setting. You must be self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of advancing projects independently. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential, particularly in delivering clear, practical guidance.
Experience with legal technology platforms such as GC AI, Lexion, Carta, or similar contract management systems is required. Familiarity with healthcare regulatory frameworks is critical. You should be comfortable managing multiple deadlines in a fast-moving environment and committed to working collaboratively across teams.
Preferred candidates will have exposure to transactional legal work, startup operations, and experience automating legal processes to improve efficiency.
