Join a purpose-driven team as a remote volunteer Social Media Manager and play a key role in amplifying a meaningful mission. You’ll be responsible for building and managing a cohesive social media strategy, crafting compelling content, and fostering online community engagement to support outreach and donor visibility.
What You’ll Do
- Lead end-to-end social media campaigns and manage daily platform activity across Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and LinkedIn
- Create and schedule content tailored to diverse audiences, enhancing reach and interaction
- Monitor online conversations, respond to feedback, and identify emerging trends to inform strategy
- Design and maintain visual elements including profile images, cover banners, and promotional graphics
- Track performance metrics and deliver clear reports on engagement, growth, and campaign effectiveness
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistent, on-brand messaging aligned with organizational goals
- Expand outreach by connecting with bloggers and community advocates to broaden impact
What We’re Looking For
- Currently pursuing or hold a degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
- Proven experience managing professional social media accounts beyond personal use
- Strong command of written English with meticulous attention to detail
- Familiarity with social media management tools for scheduling and analytics
- Self-motivated with excellent time management and the ability to work independently
- Ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable recommendations
Preferred Background
Experience or interest in nonprofit communications and mission-based marketing is a plus.
