As a Sustainability Program Manager, you will build relationships with decision makers at leading food companies to promote sustainable food sourcing policies, such as cage-free eggs. You will educate companies on environmental, animal welfare, and economic benefits while supporting them in setting sustainability targets.
Responsibilities
- Proactively outreach and build relationships with decision makers at leading food companies
- Educate companies on the environmental, animal welfare, and economic benefits of sustainable food sourcing policies
- Advocate for the implementation of stronger sustainable food sourcing policies, such as the use of cage-free eggs
- Provide industry updates to food companies
- Connect companies with potential suppliers
- Provide resources to help companies understand and set sustainability targets
- Identify and engage with top management of new food companies
- Actively network and conduct outreach through online research
- Write and send emails to potential partners and stakeholders
- Make calls to companies and decision makers
- Conduct visits and meetings with companies
