About the Role
Lead the development and execution of product strategy for AI-powered educational tools, working closely with engineering and learning science teams to deliver impactful solutions at scale.
Responsibilities
- Define product vision and roadmap for AI-integrated learning platforms
- Collaborate with data scientists to translate machine learning models into user-facing features
- Conduct user research to understand educator and learner needs
- Prioritize features based on impact, feasibility, and strategic alignment
- Work closely with engineering teams to ensure timely and high-quality delivery
- Analyze product performance using quantitative and qualitative metrics
- Iterate on product design based on user feedback and usage data
- Coordinate with UX designers to create intuitive and effective interfaces
- Manage stakeholder expectations across departments
- Communicate product progress and strategy to executive leadership
- Ensure compliance with data privacy and educational standards
- Support go-to-market planning in collaboration with marketing and sales
- Identify opportunities for personalization and adaptive learning
- Evaluate third-party tools and integrations for ecosystem expansion
- Lead discovery efforts for new product initiatives
- Mentor junior product team members
- Stay current with advancements in AI and EdTech trends
- Balance innovation with technical debt and scalability
- Facilitate cross-team alignment on product goals
- Drive user testing and validation cycles
Nice to Have
- Master’s degree in education, instructional design, or data science
- Prior work in an EdTech startup or large-scale learning platform
- Hands-on experience with AI model evaluation and deployment
- Published research or speaking engagements in EdTech or AI
- Familiarity with open educational resources (OER)
- Experience with international education markets
- Knowledge of LTI, SCORM, or other e-learning standards
- Background in cognitive science or learning theory
- Proficiency in user journey mapping and service design
