About the Role

The Vice President of Sales is a senior leadership role at Pearl, responsible for owning and scaling the company’s full sales and business development function. This position plays a critical role in driving net-new client acquisition, improving conversion rates, and building a repeatable, data-driven sales engine within a fully remote, high-growth environment.

What You'll Do

  • Own Pearl Talent’s full sales funnel, from lead generation to close
  • Improve lead-to-sale conversion rates through messaging, qualification, and process optimization
  • Close high-value client deals while refining sales positioning
  • Launch and test new outbound and inbound sales initiatives
  • Build, train, and manage a high-performance internal sales team (SDRs and AEs)
  • Conduct regular 1:1s, call reviews, and performance coaching
  • Run daily or weekly team enablement and learning sessions
  • Develop SDRs into strong closers through structured training
  • Own CRM accuracy, pipeline management, and reporting for Pearl Talent
  • Refine sales playbooks, SOPs, workflows, and qualification frameworks
  • Identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies across Pearl’s sales process
  • Implement data-driven improvements to sales execution
  • Partner with marketing to align lead generation, messaging, and campaigns
  • Collaborate with operations and client success to ensure smooth client onboarding
  • Maintain a premium sales experience for Pearl’s clients

What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience as a sales leader in a high-growth environment
  • Direct experience in scaling sales teams and processes
  • Hands-on experience closing high-value B2B deals
  • Strong leadership and coaching skills for SDRs and AEs
  • Experience owning the full sales funnel from lead to close
  • Demonstrated ability to improve lead-to-sale conversion rates
  • Experience with CRM systems and maintaining pipeline accuracy
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with marketing, operations, and client success
  • Track record of driving ARR growth
  • Experience in data-driven sales optimization and experimentation
  • Availability to work Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST

  • Experience in recruitment, talent marketplace, or B2B services industries
  • Prior work with startups or venture-backed companies
  • Familiarity with US and EU markets
  • Experience working remotely in a global team
