Aderant is hiring a Vice President of North America Sales to drive revenue growth, expand market share, and lead high-performing sales teams across the United States and Canada. You will own the regional sales strategy for our portfolio of legal software solutions, focusing on enterprise and mid-market law firms, corporate legal departments, and professional services organizations.
What You'll Do
- Develop and execute the North America sales strategy aligned with Aderant’s overall business objectives.
- Own regional revenue targets, forecasts, pipeline health, and quota attainment.
- Drive new logo acquisition, cross-sell, upsell, and expansion within existing accounts.
- Identify and pursue strategic growth opportunities in target segments and verticals.
- Lead, coach, and scale a distributed team of sales leaders and individual contributors.
- Establish clear performance expectations, compensation plans, and career development paths.
- Foster a high-performance, accountability-driven sales culture grounded in data and customer outcomes.
- Build and maintain executive-level relationships with key customers and prospects.
- Represent Aderant in high-value deals, contract negotiations, and strategic account planning.
- Act as the voice of the customer, providing market insights and competitive intelligence to internal stakeholders.
- Partner with Marketing on demand generation, positioning, and go-to-market initiatives.
- Collaborate with Customer Success and Professional Services to ensure smooth handoffs, adoption, and retention.
- Work closely with Product and Engineering to align roadmap priorities with market needs.
- Drive disciplined use of CRM, forecasting methodologies, and sales analytics.
- Continuously optimize sales processes, territory design, and coverage models.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, pricing frameworks, and legal standards.
What We're Looking For
- 12+ years of progressive sales leadership experience, including senior leadership roles in enterprise SaaS or technology.
- Proven success selling complex, high-value software solutions to professional services organizations.
- Demonstrated ability to build, lead, and scale high-performing sales teams across large geographies.
- Strong strategic thinking, executive presence, and negotiation skills.
- Data-driven approach to forecasting, pipeline management, and performance measurement.
- Bachelor’s degree required.
Nice to Have
- Legal industry experience strongly preferred.
- MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.
