About the Role

What You'll Do

As Sr. Director, Growth and Strategy, you will define and advance the strategic trajectory of the Space Division, ensuring sustainable growth and market leadership. You will lead the development of long-range plans, strategic narratives, and executive communications that align leadership and drive organizational focus.

You will conduct in-depth market and competitive analysis, translating insights into actionable strategies for new opportunities, technology investments, and market expansion. By monitoring shifts in customer priorities, budget landscapes, and emerging technologies, you will identify risks and opportunities that shape strategic decisions.

Collaboration is central to this role. You will work closely with engineering, business units, finance, and program management to align technical roadmaps with market demands and financial goals. You will lead portfolio governance, scenario planning, and strategic trade studies, ensuring disciplined prioritization of initiatives and resources.

You will represent the division externally, engaging with customers and industry partners to understand future needs and strengthen strategic positioning. Internally, you will deliver executive-ready briefings, investment recommendations, and performance metrics that track progress against growth targets and portfolio health.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Economics, or a related field
  • 15+ years of experience in strategy, business development, or market analysis roles
  • 5+ years in strategic leadership with people management responsibilities
  • Proven experience in the Space, Defense, or Aerospace industries, with deep understanding of customer ecosystems and competitive dynamics
  • Track record of influencing executive decision-making and driving alignment across complex organizations
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in portfolio planning, forecasting, and investment prioritization
  • Exceptional communication abilities, with the capacity to lead high-level discussions and present strategic concepts clearly
  • Ability to navigate both structured and uncertain environments while delivering strategic clarity
