The Virtual Sales Executive at Marriott Vacations Worldwide delivers marketing-generated sales presentations remotely using screen-sharing technology to convert prospective owners into purchasers and reload existing owners. This role emphasizes building trust, customizing sales experiences, and ensuring timely contract completion while maintaining long-term customer relationships.
What You'll Do
- Deliver marketing-generated sales presentations over the computer using screen-sharing technology
- Effectively use sales techniques and processes to convert prospective owners into purchasers
- Reload existing Owners through targeted sales efforts
- Develop relationships with prospective owners by soliciting and following up on referrals and leads
- Customize the sales experience to individual needs and preferences
- Ensure all required paperwork and legally required documents are completed accurately and in a timely manner
- Maintain customer relationships after the sale to ensure continued owner satisfaction
- Develop future business opportunities such as reloads, referrals, and additional sales
- Answer owner questions regarding property use and location amenities
- Make recommendations based on owner background information obtained through discovery
- Follow up on referrals and leads from owners
- Fulfill requests from owners or prospects regarding pricing, property maps, property descriptions, room locations, and portfolio/network information
- Contact owners to monitor satisfaction and inform of upcoming promotions
- Develop business opportunities including reloads, referrals, and additional sales
- Develop and maintain records on customer contacts
- Use customer contact records to support effective follow-up opportunities
- Monitor contract processing to minimize rescission decisions
- Provide comprehensive owner assurance
- Ensure timeliness of closings
- Follow and adhere to the Consultative Sales Process when presenting to owners and potential owners
- Establish trust with prospective owners and Owners throughout the entire sales process
- Discover needs of prospective owners and Owners through layered questions and discussions
- Utilize discovery information to customize the sales presentation
- Explain features, advantages, and benefits of the product
- Advocate appropriate amount of points to meet current and future vacation needs
- Complete and close the sales contract process
- Ensure all required/legal paperwork and documents are signed and notarized
- Practice, develop, and improve sales script and presentation
- Ensure clear understanding of finance options and present them as an approach to ownership
- Prepare for daily appointments by reviewing tour sheet, owner history, and presentation details
What We're Looking For
- Minimum 2 years of on-site timeshare sales experience with documented performance results
- Open availability Monday through Saturday, mornings and evenings
- Residence required in Florida, Nevada, Utah, Arizona, or South Carolina
- Active Real Estate or Timeshare Sales license for one of the listed states
- High school diploma or GED
- Private Office in the home for work and computer equipment
- Proficiency in English
- Proficiency in computer skills, specifically in Microsoft programs including Outlook, Excel and Team
- Incumbent is required to maintain an active and in-good standing professional Real Estate License where mandated by law
- Work remotely from home
- Work weekends and holidays as required by business needs
Nice to Have
- Two years plus related face to face timeshare sales experience
