APAC Mississippi, Inc., a CRH company, is hiring a Vice President, Strategy & Development to join the CRH strategy and development team. This role will lead strategic efforts within the Great Lakes Division of CRH Americas Materials (AMAT), partnering closely with senior leadership on acquisitions, divestitures, major capital investments, and strategic planning.
What You'll Do
- Lead the end-to-end acquisition process including market analysis, due diligence, valuation, negotiation, integration, and post-closing issue resolution.
- Develop and refine corporate strategy, ensuring it is synthesized and communicated to drive execution at the business level.
- Build rapport and partnership with key internal and external leaders to execute on AMAT growth plans for the Great Lakes Division.
- Leverage relationships to manage and build a pipeline of acquisition targets and major capital expenditure projects.
- Perform detailed financial analysis for acquisition and capex opportunities, providing clear explanations and recommendations to executive leadership.
- Regularly interface with AMAT leadership up through the CEO, acting as a thought partner on strategy and M&A matters.
- Partner with other Strategy & Development teams across AMAT to coordinate strategic initiatives, align M&A strategy, and facilitate the acquisition process.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Ability to travel approximately 30% with brief periods up to 75%.
Nice to Have
- MBA.
- 7 or more years of relevant experience in corporate development, investment banking, consulting, or private equity.
Team & Environment
You will work with the CRH strategy and development team and the Great Lakes Division leadership. This role partners with the Division President, Region, and Operating Company Leadership, and the AMAT SVP of Strategy & Development.
