The Senior Treasury Analyst plays a key role in overseeing daily cash and banking activities, ensuring accurate forecasting, and analyzing liquidity and balance sheet metrics. This position supports financial integrity by delivering detailed cash flow modeling and variance analysis, drawing from multiple internal data sources to inform strategic decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth analysis of debt structures and market conditions to assess financing options and advise leadership on liquidity strategy
- Develop and maintain comprehensive cash flow models, consolidating inputs across departments and adjusting for actual performance
- Oversee the company’s banking infrastructure, including account management, fee evaluations, and coordination with financial institutions
- Lead initiatives to improve treasury processes, enhance controls, and increase operational efficiency
- Mentor junior analysts, providing guidance on technical and procedural matters
- Collaborate with Accounting, Finance, and IT teams to ensure compliance, data accuracy, and system effectiveness
Qualifications
A bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is required, along with at least five years of relevant treasury experience. Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED and be authorized to work in the United States. Familiarity with internal controls and regulatory compliance is essential.
Preferred qualifications include an MBA, CPA, CMA, or CTP designation. Strong analytical abilities, proficiency in Excel, Access, and PowerPoint, and the capacity to manage multiple priorities independently are highly valued. The ideal candidate demonstrates sound judgment, professionalism, and the ability to engage effectively across organizational levels.
