Role Overview
As the Reliability Engineer HROC, you will lead regional reliability initiatives to improve equipment performance, increase uptime, and reduce maintenance costs across several cement production facilities. Working within a demanding industrial environment, you will analyze equipment health data, guide failure investigations, and support long-term operational improvements.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute reliability strategies tailored to the regional operations of multiple cement plants, focusing on equipment longevity and cost-efficient maintenance.
- Use predictive technologies—including vibration analysis, thermography, and oil sampling—to monitor asset conditions and convert data into actionable maintenance plans.
- Lead root cause investigations for equipment failures, production disruptions, and quality issues, ensuring corrective actions are effective and tracked.
- Partner with plant maintenance teams to refine preventive and predictive maintenance schedules, outage planning, and overall asset management practices.
- Support continuous improvement by guiding facilities in adopting standardized reliability and maintenance programs.
- Establish spare parts strategies that balance inventory levels with operational needs, ensuring critical components are available when needed while minimizing carrying costs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
- Proven experience in reliability engineering within cement, heavy industry, or continuous process manufacturing environments.
- Strong understanding of reliability methodologies, condition-based maintenance, and root cause analysis techniques.
- Experience with predictive maintenance tools and computerized maintenance management systems, particularly SAP.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project coordination abilities, with a track record of supporting multiple sites remotely.
- Willingness to travel to plant and corporate locations for audits, meetings, and implementation activities.

Work Environment
This is a hybrid role combining remote support with on-site presence. You will be based in a central location while providing reliability oversight to multiple cement plants within a defined region. Travel to plant and corporate sites is required for inspections, project execution, and team collaboration.
