Smartsheet is hiring a Sr. Implementation Specialist (Remote Eligible - Costa Rica)

About the Role

As a Senior Implementation Specialist, you will guide new customers through the full lifecycle of adopting a cloud-based platform, ensuring they achieve measurable value quickly. You'll manage multiple client engagements simultaneously, working across industries to tailor solutions that align with each organization's unique workflows and objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead 12–15 concurrent implementations, driving timelines, managing scope, and adapting to evolving client needs
  • Translate business requirements into functional configurations using no-code tools and SaaS capabilities
  • Design and deploy customized solutions that integrate with existing processes and systems
  • Demonstrate platform features and lead training sessions to promote user adoption
  • Identify opportunities to expand platform usage and recommend additional services that support long-term growth
  • Mentor team members and contribute to improving implementation methodologies and packaged offerings
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless delivery and customer satisfaction
  • Maintain deep expertise in platform functionality, including advanced features and premium modules

What You Bring

  • A background in SaaS implementation with hands-on experience configuring and customizing cloud applications
  • Proven ability to manage project timelines, define scope, and deliver results under deadlines
  • Strong proficiency with spreadsheet logic and formula development across platforms like Excel, Google Sheets, or similar
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders
  • A proactive mindset focused on risk identification, problem solving, and relationship building
  • Self-motivation and a track record of delivering in fast-moving, growth-driven environments
  • A passion for learning new technologies and helping organizations transform how they work

Preferred Background

  • Experience in business process improvement or workflow optimization
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies or software development lifecycles
  • Consulting experience in management or technology services
