As an Admissions Counselor, you’ll serve as a trusted guide, engaging daily through phone, text, and email to understand each student’s unique goals and challenges.
What You’ll Do
- Lead student-centered conversations that build trust and uncover motivations, helping individuals assess whether their path aligns with what’s offered
- Conduct thoughtful interviews to identify aspirations, obstacles, and readiness for enrollment
- Support students through every stage of the application and enrollment process, ensuring they understand key steps, timelines, and expectations
- Address concerns with empathy—whether academic, logistical, or emotional—offering clear, compassionate guidance
- Manage a high-volume outreach schedule, making 80+ calls per day and maintaining consistent follow-up across channels
- Use Salesforce and other tools to track interactions, organize tasks, and ensure accurate, up-to-date records
- Collaborate across teams by maintaining detailed documentation that enables smooth transitions to financial aid and onboarding
- Stay resilient and focused in a fast-moving environment, adapting quickly to changing priorities and student needs
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with confidence on the phone and in written outreach
- Experience managing performance metrics and meeting outreach targets
- Proficiency with CRM systems like Salesforce or Google Sheets, or a willingness to learn quickly
- Demonstrated ability to handle a high volume of student interactions with consistency and care
- Preferred: Background in admissions, recruitment, or another role centered on student or customer support
Work Environment
This is a remote role with a requirement to be based in or near Phoenix, AZ. Schedules are flexible and may include either Sunday–Thursday or Tuesday–Saturday, from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM PT.

Compensation
Base salary ranges from $47,000 to $56,000, adjusted based on experience, skills, and location. Remote roles are compensated locally. Additional equity is granted as part of the total package.
