About the Role

GoodLeap is seeking a Vice President of Credit & Underwriting Strategy to lead the development and execution of credit and underwriting strategies for our capital markets division.

What You'll Do

  • Lead the strategic development of credit and underwriting policies and models
  • Execute and oversee the implementation of new strategies across the capital markets division
  • Analyze portfolio performance and market trends to inform strategic decisions
  • Collaborate with finance, risk, and sales teams to align strategy with business objectives

What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience leading credit strategy and underwriting for a capital markets or financial services organization
  • Deep expertise in credit risk modeling, portfolio analysis, and structured finance
  • Strong analytical and quantitative background with a focus on data-driven decision making
  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills to influence cross-functional teams

Work Mode

This position offers a hybrid work model, with options based in San Francisco, CA or remote within the United States.
