Porter Novelli is hiring a Vice President, Digital Health Strategist to lead digital work for a major healthcare client. This role develops and oversees social media and digital initiatives, including content, campaigns, medical meeting strategies, and influencer activations, serving as a strategic advisor at the intersection of integrated services and healthcare teams.
What You'll Do
- Serve as a senior social strategy contact for a major healthcare client.
- Develop and implement innovative social brand and social content strategies integrated with overall client marketing objectives.
- Collaborate with agency partners to develop and implement integrated media strategy, media planning, and program execution.
- Lead development of social media management standards, policies and rules of engagement for social channels.
- Help deploy an industry-leading technology stack that supports insights development, audience intelligence, and performance measurement.
- Translate research and data into actionable insights.
- Utilize social and digital technological innovations to advance current client offerings and engagements.
What We're Looking For
- 8+ years of social and digital experience within healthcare industry (client-side), advertising and/or PR agency.
- Experience working with complex HIPAA and FDA-regulated issues.
- A track record of creative thinking and effective execution in social media and digital platforms.
- Thorough command of the social media and digital spaces, sophisticated client service and digital communications skills.
- Work well within highly collaborative, integrated teams – displaying proven ability in running a team, controlling timelines and budgets.
- Understand the paid media environment and how it applies to a holistic social media strategy.
- Expert grasp of influencer (patient, caregiver, HCP) strategy including planning, contracting, activating, and amplifying end-to-end campaigns.
- Proven ability to meet deadlines, juggle multiple projects and work independently in a fast-paced office environment.

- Familiarity with oncology and related fields.
