What You'll Do
Drive the strategic direction and expansion of a leading Brand practice, focusing on earned media innovation and integrated storytelling for prominent consumer clients. Lead high-impact initiatives from concept to delivery, ensuring precision, creativity, and measurable outcomes. Oversee complex projects, delegate responsibilities effectively, and maintain rigorous quality standards across all outputs.
Provide daily strategic guidance to clients across multiple brands, shaping narratives that elevate visibility, influence perception, and prompt consumer engagement. Cultivate long-term client relationships built on trust, insight, and consistent value. Champion an earned-first mindset, integrating media, culture, and partnerships to create campaigns that break through clutter.
Lead, mentor, and develop a team of communications professionals—offering feedback, fostering growth, and promoting accountability. Establish efficient workflows and operational rhythms that support agility and alignment across integrated agency partners, including creative, digital, and paid media teams. Help design and execute both rapid-response campaigns and sustained brand programming.
Take ownership of business performance, demonstrating financial awareness and a commitment to profitability. Contribute to new business development and collaborate with partners to maximize the impact of events and co-created initiatives. Challenge conventional thinking and adapt strategies to meet evolving industry demands.
Requirements
- Minimum of eight years of experience in public relations, brand strategy, or related disciplines such as advertising, research, media, or management consulting
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience
- Proven success in developing and leading profitable, integrated communications programs
- Deep understanding of earned media strategy and its role within the modern marketing ecosystem
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing teams, budgets, and client expectations
- Ability to serve as a trusted senior advisor, offering clear, confident counsel on brand positioning and communications
- Experience working with lifestyle, travel, entertainment, or financial services brands is highly valued
- Familiarity with storytelling across diverse consumer sectors, especially retail or tourism, is a plus
- Demonstrated ability to thrive in fast-paced, evolving environments with an entrepreneurial mindset
