Drive Impact in Virology Care Through Strategic Engagement
As a Senior Virology Care Specialist, you'll lead field efforts to connect healthcare providers with innovative monoclonal antibody solutions designed for immunocompromised patients at high risk of severe outcomes from COVID-19. Operating remotely within a defined territory, you’ll engage with providers across integrated delivery networks, health systems, and community clinics to foster informed clinical decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Build trusted, compliant relationships with healthcare professionals across specialties by delivering accurate, balanced product information aligned with approved resources
- Lead clinical discussions that support patient access by identifying barriers and aligning solutions with provider needs
- Develop and execute a territory business plan grounded in shared priorities, using insights from cross-functional collaboration and market data
- Apply a deep understanding of healthcare decision-making structures to influence outcomes across complex account environments
- Deliver persuasive, compliant product presentations that support patient care planning and treatment adoption
- Collaborate with marketing, market access, and internal teams to align strategies and respond to evolving customer needs
- Collect and share frontline insights to help shape product support and service improvements
- Leverage data to prioritize accounts and optimize engagement strategies across multiple channels
- Maintain accountability for results with a proactive, business-owner mindset while adhering to regulatory and compliance standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Minimum of 5 years of customer-facing sales experience in biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, or medical devices
- Proven success in life sciences sales with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage diverse healthcare stakeholders
- Adaptable, coachable, and committed to continuous learning and performance growth
- Resilient and persistent, with the agility to thrive in a fast-moving, mission-focused environment
- Demonstrated ability to manage time, prioritize tasks, and operate independently
- High ethical standards and a consistent commitment to compliance in all interactions
- Must reside within the assigned territory and be available for five days per week in the field, including overnight travel as needed
- Willingness and ability to travel by car or air within the territory as required
Compensation & Benefits
This role offers a base salary range of $120,000 to $160,000, plus an annual short-term incentive and eligibility for long-term equity incentives. Work Environment
This is a hybrid, field-based position requiring consistent in-person engagement. Candidates must live within the defined territory and be prepared for regular travel, including overnight stays, to meet with healthcare providers and stakeholders.
