Ashby is looking for a Vendor Business Development professional to join our Equipment Finance team. You will originate and manage vendor financing programs, partnering with equipment dealers, distributors, and manufacturers across the Midwest.
What You'll Do
- Originate small to mid-ticket vendor financing programs.
- Develop and maintain vendor leasing programs with qualified equipment manufacturers, distributors, dealers, and resellers.
- Work with vendors and their customers to structure and present financing products for various equipment types.
- Manage accounts from the application stage through funding.
- Originate new relationships while managing and growing existing accounts.
- Negotiate lease terms and pricing.
- Facilitate the collection of credit information for underwriting.
- Provide front-line sales and support for finance products to manufacturers and equipment resellers.
- Market equipment finance services to potential customers via outbound calls and marketing materials.
- Support existing manufacturer programs by following up and managing transactions in progress.
- Expedite ongoing transactions.
- Facilitate prompt payment of invoices and monitor service levels for vendors and lessees.
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of sales experience in the equipment finance industry.
- Excellent understanding of the equipment financing marketplace.
- A firm grasp of the advantages of financing for both the lessee and our targeted vendors.
- Highly competent, executive-level sales negotiating and closing skills.
- A strong track record of meeting or exceeding financial goals.
- Ability to work independently and achieve set objectives.
Benefits & Compensation
- Salary: $70,000 - $150,000 per year.
Work Mode
This is a remote position. Candidates must be located in or near Chicago, Illinois.
