Position Overview
This role focuses on advancing respiratory therapeutics within a defined region covering Winston-Salem, Statesville, Mooresville, and Salisbury. As a key field representative, you will engage with healthcare professionals to increase awareness and appropriate use of respiratory products, aligning promotional efforts with company objectives and compliance guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and implement a territory-specific business strategy in alignment with broader sales goals
- Deliver informative, compliant product presentations to physicians and clinical staff
- Meet or exceed quarterly sales targets through effective outreach and follow-up
- Apply targeting methodologies to prioritize high-impact accounts
- Prepare strategically for customer interactions using prescriber data and insights
- Maintain consistent productivity in field visits and customer engagement
- Collect and analyze feedback from medical offices and pharmacies to refine outreach approaches
- Use samples, educational materials, and resources to support physician understanding
- Clearly communicate product distinctions compared to competitive offerings
- Address customer concerns with discretion and professionalism
- Engage in ongoing training to strengthen product knowledge and sales effectiveness
Qualifications
A bachelor’s degree is required. Ideal candidates will have a history of strong sales performance and demonstrated ability in negotiation, customer relationship management, and independent work. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook is essential. Must be self-motivated, capable of strategic planning, and able to communicate complex information clearly. Fluency in English—spoken, written, and comprehension—is mandatory.
Applicants must reside within the designated territory or within a practical commuting range. A valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record are required. Prior pharmaceutical sales experience, particularly in respiratory therapeutics, is preferred.
