About the Role

Varonis is hiring a Strategic Account Manager to sell and present our products and services to current and net-new enterprise accounts. In this role, you will be aligned with a local Sales Engineer to build strong business justifications and meet or exceed your annual sales quota.

What You'll Do

  • Prospect and identify key decision makers within targeted leads.
  • Present and sell Varonis’ products and services to current and potential clients.
  • Follow up on leads and referrals, maintaining and expanding the database of contacts.
  • Uphold sales activities including prospecting, cold calling, booking appointments, performing demos, and creating proposals.
  • Present to C-Level prospective clients and resellers through effective product demonstrations.
  • Partner with Sales Managers and Channel Managers to determine a strategic sales approach.
  • Establish and maintain current customer relationships by responding to requests and managing/resolving issues.
  • Support the reseller communication channel throughout the sales process.
  • Maintain accurate account information and activity detail in CRM.
  • Participate in marketing events such as seminars and trade shows when necessary.

What We're Looking For

  • A Bachelor’s Degree from a four-year College/University OR 5+ years of business-to-business sales experience/training OR an equivalent combination.
  • Prior experience selling security software products through the use of channel partners.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • A healthy list of pre-established and prospective contacts in the given territory.
  • Willingness to learn technical aspects of selling the Varonis product.
  • Demonstrated competencies: Achievement Focus, Sales Skills, Sense of Urgency, Customer Service, Problem Solving, Written Communications, Oral Communication, Adaptability, Planning/Organizing.

Nice to Have

  • Technology industry experience.
  • Salesforce and Microsoft Outlook skills.

This is a local position based in the San Francisco, California area.
