About the Role

Rockefeller Philanthropy Advisors is hiring a Utility Sales Executive to spearhead client engagement and sales for advanced utility mapping and discovery solutions. In this role, you will focus on the commercial and industrial sectors, building relationships with key decision-makers and aligning our offerings with electrification trends and capital program benefits.

What You'll Do

  • Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies targeting growth in the utility sector, with a focus on electrification trends.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, engaging with executives to understand capital program needs and present tailored solutions.
  • Lead discovery conversations to identify client needs and address objections with consultative solutions.
  • Stay current with product developments and educate clients on how offerings support their utility and sustainability goals.
  • Manage your sales pipeline, maintain CRM records, and collaborate with vertical utility leaders on contract negotiation and deal closure.
  • Monitor market trends, regulatory shifts, and customer requirements, providing actionable feedback to product teams.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, or a related field.
  • 6 to 12 years of B2B sales experience.
  • Strong knowledge of utility services, energy efficiency, sustainability, and electrification concepts.
  • Exceptional executive presence with excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and sales tools.

Nice to Have

  • B2B sales experience preferably within the utility industry.
