U.S. Bank is looking for a USB Business Card Consultant in our San Diego market. You will be responsible for developing profitable business account relationships and increasing profitability from both new and existing clients. You'll combine individual prospecting to provide businesses with credit card solutions with partnering directly with Business Banking Relationship Managers to uncover opportunities within their portfolios.
What You'll Do
- Identify business opportunities based on your knowledge of clients, markets, products, and services.
- Make sales presentations to existing and prospective clients, demonstrating how our products and services meet their needs.
- Implement and maintain an effective referral network and call program to promote sales.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent work experience.
- Seven to nine or more years of relevant work experience.
- Ability to travel locally and regionally, with some national travel required.
Nice to Have
- Well-developed sales and new business development skills, including strategy development and closing.
- Thorough knowledge of unit payment products.
- Basic knowledge of U.S. Bank’s organization, products, services, and operations.
- Strong marketing, negotiation, decision-making, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to creatively resolve client issues.
- Excellent interpersonal, presentation, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Good understanding of basic accounting principles related to financial transactions.
Team & Environment
You will primarily partner with Business Banking Relationship Managers in the San Diego market to uncover opportunities within their portfolios.

- Compensation range: $98,175.00 - $115,500.00
