Washington University in St. Louis seeks a part-time Public Health Research Coordinator I to support investigators in the Surgery department. You will act as a liaison between the school, sponsoring agencies, the community, and study participants, coordinating basic to moderately complex public health research studies.
What You'll Do
- Implement and manage all phases of the study protocol to ensure compliance with guidelines and regulatory requirements.
- Recruit and enroll study participants, making eligibility determinations based on diagnostic criteria and interviews.
- Develop informed consent packets and explain study processes to address participant and family concerns.
- Administer and score tests, ensuring timely completion of all protocol requirements including assessments, procedures, and treatments.
- Routinely collect public health data under established research protocols.
- Evaluate, analyze, and interpret qualitative and/or quantitative data of low complexity in collaboration with the investigator.
- Prepare oral or written presentations, reports, and analyses that set forth progress trends.
- Conduct literature reviews under the investigator's supervision.
- Assist the investigator with grant and manuscript preparations.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree, or a combination of education and relevant experience that substitutes for the minimum education requirement.
Nice to Have
- 1 year of research experience in Public Health, Epidemiological, Behavioral Medicine, Psychological, Sociological, Anthropological, Clinical, or Urban Planning fields.
- Skills in Analytical Solutions, Big Data Analytics, Clinical Support, Data Management, and Public Health Research.
- Proficiency in Communication, Computer Literacy, and Interpersonal Relationships.
- Experience with Qualitative Analysis Software and Quantitative Analysis Software.
- Skills in Organizational Leadership.
Benefits & Compensation
- Hourly pay range: $22.78 - $34.21.
