HERA Organics seeks a Senior Relationship Banker to serve as a key driver in growing our business. This role focuses on identifying customer needs through our retail sales process and providing proactive solutions for both basic and complex requirements. You will specialize in the branch customer experience through all retail and business sales interactions.
What You'll Do
- Develop new customer relationships and expand existing ones by proactively identifying opportunities.
- Play a key role in Relationship Management, Sales Process, and Risk Management, including customer assessments, profile-based outreach, and compliance with audit and KYC requirements.
- Reach out to clients to follow up on identified needs and progress development plans.
- Develop an understanding of Business Banking products and services.
- Evaluate financing requests, recommend loan structures, and submit complete loan application packages.
- Research and provide industry knowledge.
- Fluently explain processes, services, and products such as consumer debt scenarios, mortgages, HELOCs, and Merchant Services.
- Attend community networking events.
- Develop relationships with Centers of Influence for referral opportunities.
- Act as a liaison with business partners for retail product solutions and cross-selling.
- Solicit new business banking relationships through outbound prospecting in some branches.
- Adhere to compliance and operational risk controls.
- Promote an environment that supports belonging and reflects the M&T Bank brand.
- Maintain M&T internal control standards.
- Meet and maintain registration requirements under the Federal SAFE Act.
What We're Looking For
- A high school diploma or GED and a minimum of 3 years of proven retail sales, call center, customer service, and/or telesales experience.
- Or a high school diploma or GED and a minimum of 2 years of proven proactive sales experience.
- Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to demonstrate exceptional customer service.
- Well-organized with time management and prioritization skills.
- Demonstrated financial services product knowledge.
- Ability to communicate with tact and diplomacy.
- Proficient with internet user-level technology.
Nice to Have
- Associates degree.
- Notary public license.
- Minimum of 3 years of financial services sales experience.
- Bi-lingual skills based on branch needs.
Team & Environment
You will work with more complex business customers and build relationships with non-branch business partners such as business bankers and mortgage loan originators.
Benefits & Compensation
- Compensation: $25.55 - $42.59 per hour (USD).
Work Mode
This is an onsite position located in Piermont, New York, United States of America.
