dentsu is hiring a UI/Visual Designer to lead the visual execution of a primary website redesign for a leading fintech client. This hands-on design leadership role requires world-class visual craft combined with UX understanding to elevate an enterprise brand and guide distributed teams.
What You'll Do
- Lead day-to-day visual design for a large enterprise website redesign.
- Produce high-fidelity UI and visual design work, approximately 60% hands-on.
- Oversee and direct two offshore UI/visual design teams, approximately 40% leadership.
- Ensure design quality, consistency, and brand alignment across all outputs.
- Collaborate closely with UX partners, internal brand teams, and Dentsu Creative.
- Present work to executive stakeholders with confidence and clarity.
- Partner cross-functionally with account, project management, UX, and India-based design teams.
- Apply and evolve established design systems at enterprise scale.
What We're Looking For
- 8+ years of UI/visual design experience, including large-scale digital systems.
- A portfolio demonstrating strong visual craft and brand-elevating design.
- Ability to modernize, remix, and evolve existing brand systems.
- Strong understanding of UX and experience design, approximately 30–40%.
- Experience directing offshore or distributed design teams.
- Expert proficiency in Figma.
- Ability to handle asset adjustments in Adobe tools like Photoshop.
Nice to Have
- Agency background or experience in matrixed client environments.
- Experience working within complex enterprise design systems.
- Financial services, fintech, or similarly regulated industries.
- Familiarity with AI-enhanced design workflows.

Team & Environment
You will oversee two offshore UI/visual design teams in a collaborative partnership with UX, project management, and India-based hands-on design teams. You will report day-to-day to a Group Creative Director, with solid-line reporting into Dentsu’s Visual Design practice.
