Tahaluf is hiring an experienced and innovative UX Designer to join our Product and Platform team in Penang, Malaysia. You will be critical in shaping user-centered digital experiences that align with business goals and technical constraints. This role leads design and customer experience efforts by combining research, design, and user advocacy to create intuitive, accessible, and impactful digital products.
What You'll Do
- Design and refine user experiences by leading the execution of end-to-end user journeys, creating intuitive and visually engaging interfaces for web and mobile platforms.
- Conduct user research such as interviews, surveys, and usability testing to gain insights into user needs and behavior.
- Translate complex problems and user needs into simple, effective solutions.
- Establish measurement and experimentation: set UX metrics, run A/B tests, and validate engagement and conversion improvements.
- Partner closely with Product Managers, developers, and stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of user experience principles into the product development lifecycle.
What We're Looking For
- 2–5 years of experience in UX design or related roles, with a proven track record of delivering user-centered digital products.
- Proficiency in wireframing, prototyping, and user journey mapping.
- Experience using design tools such as Figma, Axure, Balsamiq, or similar platforms.
- Strong understanding of information architecture, usability principles, and accessibility guidelines.
- Confidence in working with product teams to interpret user needs and align design solutions with business goals.
- Experience conducting user interviews, surveys, and A/B tests.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with visual designers and developers.
- A portfolio demonstrating problem-solving skills and UX thinking.
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with inclusive design principles and accessibility standards.
- Experience leading discovery sessions and presenting insights to stakeholders.
- Knowledge of testing methodologies, including usability testing and A/B testing.
- Strong organizational and project management skills to handle multiple design initiatives simultaneously.
