Zenara Health is looking for a UI/UX Designer to join our AI-native healthcare SaaS company. You will own the entire visual and interaction layer across all products, focusing on designing intuitive, high-velocity interfaces for clinicians and patients. Your work will ensure our designs powerfully support critical clinical workflows.
What You'll Do
- Own UI/UX design for our assessment product, care/practice product, and platform layer, creating wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs.
- Rapidly explore, iterate, and validate design ideas using AI tools and prompting to achieve 'good enough to build' designs quickly.
- Define UX hypotheses and evaluate feature adoption using quantitative signals, partnering with product and engineering on experiments like A/B tests.
- Maintain and evolve the Zenara design system, including components, patterns, and design tokens.
- Conduct user research and usability testing with real clinical users, such as psychiatrists, to validate design decisions.
- Design interfaces for healthcare users, understanding clinical workflows to support them naturally.
- Design for accessibility (WCAG compliance) and responsive layouts across devices.
- Collaborate closely with Product and Engineering on sprint deliverables, balancing design ideals with implementation constraints.
- Design AI-powered interaction patterns like chat interfaces and AI-generated content displays.
What We're Looking For
- 4-8 years as a UI/UX Designer for B2B SaaS or healthcare products, with experience designing complex enterprise applications.
- Expert Figma skills, thinking in components, variants, and design systems.
- Comfort using AI tools via prompting and experimentation to accelerate design thinking and reduce cycle time.
- Ability to define UX hypotheses and evaluate feature adoption using quantitative signals.
- Comfort partnering with product and engineering to design and interpret UX experiments like A/B tests.
- Ability to extract insights from usage data to inform design iteration.
- A portfolio showing healthcare or complex enterprise product design.
- Experience designing for clinical workflows—EHR interfaces, patient-facing tools, or dashboard-heavy products.
- Understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG) and inclusive design principles.
- Comfort working with product direction from a non-designer, translating strategy into screens.
- Strong English communication skills for async-first work, producing clear design rationale and specifications.
Nice to Have
- Behavioral health or mental health product design experience.
- Experience designing AI-powered interfaces like chat, recommendations, or generated content.
- User research and usability testing experience with clinical users.
- Motion design and micro-interaction skills.
