Allstate is hiring a User Experience Designer apprentice to join our team. In this role, you'll support design teams through every part of the design process, from early ideation to product launch, using human-centered methods to solve problems and create thoughtful experiences. What You'll Do
- Partner with UX teammates to design future experiences in an iterative, fast-moving environment
- Use human-centered design techniques to uncover insights, frame problems, and explore possibilities
- Apply design thinking to brainstorm and test concepts with real users
- Assist with planning and conducting UX research
- Help create visuals, prototypes, and documentation that bring ideas to life
What We're Looking For
- Actively enrolled in a 2-year community college and/or technical program during the full duration of the apprenticeship
- Provide a portfolio
- Have a minimum 3.0 GPA
- Pursuing a certification or degree in User Experience Design, Service Design, Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Interaction Design, Information Sciences, Psychology, Human Factors, or Computer Science
Nice to Have
- Strong writing, storytelling, and presentation skills
- Great communication and organizational skills
- Curiosity and a willingness to learn new methods, tools, and processes
