STERRY is seeking a Junior UI/UX Designer to join our team. You will support the entire design process, from user research to high-fidelity prototyping and developer handoff. This role offers the chance to work closely with the product lead and developers using modern tools, including AI-assisted platforms, to craft intuitive user experiences for a dynamic growth marketing agency.
What You'll Do
- Create wireframes, user flows, and high-fidelity prototypes for product features and improvements.
- Design user interface components while maintaining consistency across product touchpoints and the design system.
- Utilize modern design tools and AI-assisted design platforms to enhance productivity and ideation.
- Create and organize design assets for development teams, ensuring accuracy and proper documentation.
- Support and participate in user research activities like surveys, interviews, and usability testing.
- Develop user personas, journey maps, and information architecture.
- Analyze user feedback and propose design improvements based on insights.
- Conduct competitor analysis and monitor industry design trends.
- Work closely with developers to ensure designs are feasible and align with technical specifications.
- Participate in team discussions, brainstorming, and sprint sessions, contributing creative ideas.
- Present design concepts to the team and stakeholders, incorporating feedback as necessary.
- Communicate design ideas and rationale clearly to cross-functional teams.
- Prepare design specifications and maintain clear, organized documentation for development teams.
- Ensure a smooth handoff of design files to developers for accurate implementation.
- Utilize design systems and AI-supported tools to streamline documentation and maintain consistency.
- Update design documentation as necessary to reflect changes during development.
- Stay updated on UI/UX design trends, tools, and best practices.
- Explore and adopt AI-driven design tools and workflows that improve efficiency and creativity.
- Continuously develop skills through feedback, mentorship, and training.
- Proactively seek opportunities to grow and contribute to team projects.
- Actively participate in team meetings, design critiques, and collaborative efforts.

What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 1-2 years of experience in UI/UX design (internships and academic projects count).
- Strong understanding of user-centered design principles, methodologies, and best practices.
- Ability to create wireframes, mockups, interactive prototypes, and high-fidelity UI designs.
- Knowledge of user research methods, usability testing, and gathering actionable insights.
- Ability to translate user needs and solve complex problems into intuitive and engaging experiences.
- Proficiency with industry-standard design tools like Figma and similar platforms.
- Ability to create clear design specifications and handoff documentation for developers and team members.
- Strong communication skills for presenting design ideas and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Problem-solving mindset and attention to detail.
- Openness to feedback and iterative design improvements.
- Time management skills and ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
