Valley Bank is hiring a Treasury Solutions Officer to serve as a strategic partner for our business clients, Homeowners Associations, and Property Management Companies. In this role, you will leverage deep advisory skills to assess financial needs, design tailored cash management solutions, and drive growth through consultative, client-centric sales.
What You'll Do
- Work as a trusted advisor with all business clients, Homeowners Associations, and Property Management Companies to deliver a tailored suite of services.
- Assess client needs, apply strong advisory skills, and identify the best solutions to meet those needs.
- Partner closely with client-facing teammates to consult on sales opportunities and provide product expertise.
- Network in the related field to acquire new customers and make introductions to lending teams.
- Ensure client satisfaction by understanding needs and being their advocate at the bank.
- Manage overall client satisfaction regarding Cash Management/Treasury Solutions products and services.
- Assist management in the development of new products and services, marketing materials, and sales objectives.
- Analyze account activity and balances for proposals, generate proposals, present to clients, and close sales.
- Determine what product sets and features best suit client/prospect requirements using consultative selling techniques.
- Obtain required service agreements for requested product sets and account documentation.
- Manage the implementation process along with Cash Management/Treasury Solutions Operations.
- Support the Retail and Commercial Banks' efforts in analyzing deposit relationships with existing and prospective clients.
- Travel to visit clients and/or prospects 60% of the time.
- Attend assigned District Sales Manager and Commercial Lending Bank Team meetings at least monthly.
- Follow up on all sales calls and work with Territory Sales Managers, District Sales Managers, Commercial Lenders, and Commercial Loan Relationship Managers to identify opportunities.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of competitor's products and pricing in the market.
- Be responsible for a defined number of Retail Bank Sales Districts and Commercial Bank Sales Territories.
- Attend various conferences, conventions, educational, and networking events.
- Become an active member in CAI or similar HOA/PMC Organizations.
- Create monthly sales reports reflecting pipeline of sales activities, new product sets sold, and lost business.

- Ability to analyze financial information and generate compelling client proposals.
- Excellent communication and relationship management skills to partner with internal teams and advocate for clients.
- Self-motivated with the ability to manage a sales pipeline and follow through on opportunities.
- Willingness and ability to travel 60% of the time to visit clients and prospects.
- Experience networking and building business within relevant industries.
Team & Environment
You will partner closely with client-facing teammates, Territory Sales Managers, District Sales Managers, Commercial Lenders, Commercial Loan Relationship Managers, and Cash Management/Treasury Solutions Operations to deliver comprehensive solutions.
