Ghost Security was looking for an Account Executive

As an Account Executive, you will lead the charge in acquiring new clients and growing revenue within the cybersecurity sector. Based in Austin, you’ll own the entire sales process—from initial outreach to final negotiation—ensuring each client receives a personalized and efficient experience.

What You’ll Do

  • Prospect and engage new clients, identifying opportunities that align with their security needs and business goals.
  • Build trust with decision-makers through tailored presentations and product demonstrations.
  • Manage all stages of the sales pipeline, maintaining accurate records in Salesforce and providing reliable forecasting.
  • Work hand-in-hand with marketing to refine lead follow-up strategies and improve conversion rates.
  • Coordinate with customer success to ensure smooth transitions post-sale and support long-term retention.
  • Stay current on cybersecurity threats, market shifts, and competitor offerings to position solutions effectively.
  • Represent the company at conferences, client meetings, and industry events.

What We’re Looking For

  • At least 5 years of B2B sales experience, ideally in technology or cybersecurity.
  • Consistent history of meeting or exceeding sales goals.
  • Strong command of CRM platforms such as Salesforce or HubSpot.
  • Skilled in negotiation, communication, and managing complex sales cycles independently.
  • Ability to thrive in a remote-capable environment while collaborating across departments.
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity trends is a valuable asset.
