Clarivate is seeking an experienced Travel Program Manager to manage our global corporate travel program. In this role, you will ensure smooth, efficient, and cost-effective travel arrangements, overseeing all aspects from policy adherence to vendor negotiations.
What You'll Do
- Develop, update, and enforce corporate travel policies to ensure compliance.
- Strategically manage travel budgets and negotiate competitive rates with airlines, hotels, and service providers.
- Build and maintain relationships with travel vendors, negotiating contracts and securing favorable terms.
- Utilize data analytics tools to analyze travel data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions for cost savings.
- Monitor and enforce travel risk management strategies to ensure employee safety and security.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for travel-related inquiries, ensuring exceptional customer service.
- Collaborate with internal departments to align travel initiatives with business objectives.
What We're Looking For
- At least 5 years of proven experience in corporate travel management.
- Strong understanding of travel industry trends, technologies, and best practices.
- Proficiency in travel management software and online booking tools.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make strategic recommendations.
- Knowledge of travel risk management protocols and emergency response procedures.
Nice to Have
- Excellent negotiation skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships with travel vendors.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented and highly organized, with the ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Certifications such as Certified Corporate Travel Executive (CCTE) or Certified Travel Manager (CTM) are a plus.
- Travel Agency experience would be valuable.
