Essentia Health is looking for a Trauma Registrar to provide technical and analytical support for the trauma program's performance improvement program. You'll be key in ensuring compliance with verification standards and contributing to quality care.
What You'll Do
- Abstract patient data and enter details into a database.
- Create reports and analyze data for the department.
- Participate in the trauma center's verification process and site visit.
- Work with members of the trauma program to ensure compliance with the trauma performance improvement plan.
What We're Looking For
- Associate's degree in Health Information Administration or equivalent in another healthcare related field.
- Experience working in a healthcare setting with clinical, quality, or financial systems.
- Experience can include Health Information Technology, Health Information Management, or Coding, including as a clinical coding specialist, certified professional coder, or certified coding assistant.
