This part-time residency is tailored for seasoned senior research analysts and portfolio managers seeking to explore the intersection of artificial intelligence and institutional investing. You will play a key role in assessing how frontier AI systems interpret and respond to complex financial tasks, ensuring their outputs align with professional investment reasoning.
What You'll Do
- Create and refine practical prompts that simulate tasks assigned to junior investment roles, evaluating the accuracy and relevance of AI-generated responses.
- Analyze discrepancies between established investment methodologies and AI-generated conclusions across asset classes including equities, fixed income, and multi-asset strategies.
- Convert core institutional practices—such as security analysis, portfolio construction, and risk management—into rigorous evaluation frameworks for AI systems.
- Design and validate real-world investment cases and analytical models used to stress-test the reasoning capabilities of advanced AI.
Who You Are
You bring deep experience from a major long-only asset manager, currently serving in a senior research or portfolio management role. Your expertise spans fundamental analysis, investment commentary, and engagement with corporate issuers. You understand client reporting, risk attribution, and the constraints imposed by investment policies.
With at least four years at a leading institutional firm, you approach AI with intellectual curiosity and a critical eye, eager to explore how emerging technologies can enhance—rather than replace—professional judgment in finance.
Compensation and Work Structure
This role offers an hourly rate commensurate with experience and is fully remote, open to candidates worldwide. Scheduling is flexible to accommodate professional commitments.
By participating, you gain early insight into how AI is transforming core aspects of institutional investing—from research and portfolio strategy to risk assessment and client communication—while directly influencing the development of next-generation financial AI.
