Join a forward-thinking team as an SAP GTS Technical Consultant, where you'll drive the technical delivery of Global Trade Services solutions across diverse industries. This role spans the entire project lifecycle—from initial discovery and system design to deployment and ongoing support—focusing on Compliance Management, Customs Processing, and Preference Management within SAP environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead technical design, coding, and integration tasks for SAP GTS implementations, with a focus on robust, maintainable solutions.
- Partner with functional consultants to interpret business needs and transform them into efficient technical configurations using ABAP and related tools.
- Customize and extend core GTS components including Customs Management, Compliance, and Preference modules to meet specific regulatory and operational requirements.
- Support data migration, system upgrades, and performance tuning initiatives for existing GTS landscapes.
- Develop and enhance Fiori-based interfaces to streamline user workflows and improve system usability.
- Diagnose and resolve critical technical issues in production environments, ensuring system stability and responsiveness.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across regions to deliver solutions that are scalable, compliant, and aligned with global trade standards.
Qualifications
- Minimum of six years of hands-on SAP experience, including at least one full-cycle GTS implementation.
- Proven expertise in SAP ABAP programming and deep technical knowledge of GTS modules—especially Compliance, Preference, and Customs Processing.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Preferred Background
- Experience with S/4HANA and Fiori application development.
- Exposure to E4H migration projects and understanding of bonded warehouse, FTZ, or customs filing processes.
