Support freight operations from start to finish in a fully remote role that keeps cargo moving efficiently. As a Transportation Support Coordinator, you’ll act as a central point of contact for drivers and operations teams, ensuring every load is managed with precision and timely communication.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver updated routing details, delivery instructions, and appointment times to drivers
- Monitor estimated times of arrival, driver availability, and compliance with hours-of-service rules
- Respond quickly to roadside issues, helping drivers resolve delays or changes
- Confirm pickup and delivery windows with shippers and receivers
- Track shipment progress and share real-time status updates with brokers and partners
- Review and verify bills of lading and proof of delivery to prevent load discrepancies
- Estimate realistic loading and unloading durations to avoid scheduling conflicts
- Upload required documents into the transportation management system
- Record detention, layover, and TONU details when applicable
- Maintain organized and accurate load notes throughout each shipment’s lifecycle
- Send routine check calls and notify stakeholders of any changes
- Preserve professional relationships with third-party partners and internal teams
Qualifications
You bring strong organizational habits, sharp attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure. Clear, concise communication is essential. Prior experience with load boards or TMS platforms is helpful, though training is provided for those new to logistics systems.

Compensation & Tools
