PG&E is seeking a Transmission Line Asset Strategy and Standards Intern to help maintain asset health and engineering documentation. You’ll work directly with engineers on standard designs, processes, and procedures, gaining valuable exposure to the broader Electrical Operations organization.
What You'll Do
- Review engineering calculations and cost analysis
- Assist Strategy and Standards Engineers on specific transmission line standard designs, processes, and procedures
- Assist Strategy and Standards Engineers with updates and enhancements to engineering drawings
- Map records to business processes for transmission line encroachments
- Assist in data entry for risk models
What We're Looking For
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Economics, History, Public Policy, or a related field at an accredited university
- Must be continuing education towards your degree during and/or after the internship
Nice to Have
- A 3.0 GPA or higher in both cumulative and major GPA
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and support fellow team members
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Takes initiative and can work independently with minimal direction

You will work closely with a team of experienced transmission line engineers.
Benefits & Compensation
- Hourly compensation range: $19.56 to $34.07
