Equip Health is hiring a Therapist - Eating Disorder to provide evidence-based therapy in a virtual clinic setting. At Equip, we are on a mission to ensure everyone with an eating disorder can access treatment that works. You will deliver vital care while collaborating closely with a dedicated multidisciplinary team.
What You'll Do
- Provide evidence-based family, individual, and group therapy for eating disorders and comorbid diagnoses via telehealth.
- Implement treatments including family-based treatment (FBT), enhanced cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT-E), and cognitive behavioral therapy for ARFID.
- Maintain a caseload of 30-40 patients, with 20-26 hours dedicated to direct patient care.
- Assess and diagnose mental health conditions.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary treatment team of physicians, dietitians, and mentors, plus outside providers.
- Utilize between-session messaging to support patients and communicate via Equip’s electronic medical record system.
- Engage in treatment team meetings, supervision, and department meetings.
- Maintain licensure in your home state and obtain additional state licenses as requested.
- Participate in initial and ongoing clinical training.
What We're Looking For
- Active, unrestricted, and independent license to practice psychotherapy from at least one US state in this posting's time zone.
- Ability to support a caseload of patients of all ages, co-occurring conditions, backgrounds, cultures, and acuity levels.
- Passion for delivering evidence-based care and treatment.
- Ability to provide care 2 evenings per week, being available until 8pm in your caseload's primary time zone.
- Enthusiastic, strong team player.
- Ability to safely and effectively deliver care in a virtual setting.
- Passion for mental health and eating disorder treatment and expanding access to treatment.
Nice to Have
- Experience in Family-Based Treatment and/or eating disorder treatment.
- Experience with evidence-based treatment and/or intensive treatment settings.
- Experience supporting patients with suicidal ideation and trauma.
- Case management experience and/or experience working closely with a multidisciplinary care team.

You will work closely with a multidisciplinary care team including professionals specializing in nutrition, medical care, psychiatry, and mentorship.

- Compensation: $71,000 to $105,000 Annually.
