Medtronic is hiring a Sales Representative, Cardiac Ablation Solutions

About the Role

As a Sales Representative for Cardiac Ablation Solutions, you will play a key role in advancing patient care by promoting specialized medical technologies across Seoul and Gyeonggi-do, with occasional travel for outstation support. Reporting to the Senior Sales Supervisor, you will drive sales performance while fostering trusted relationships with healthcare providers, distributors, and clinical teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Represent and advance the company’s mission, adhering to corporate standards, policies, and ethical guidelines
  • Drive adoption of cardiac ablation products and services within your assigned territory to meet or exceed sales goals
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key stakeholders, including physicians, hospitals, and distribution partners
  • Identify new opportunities, assess customer needs, and deliver tailored solutions to maximize clinical and commercial value
  • Conduct product training and educational sessions for medical teams to ensure effective use and integration
  • Deliver on-site clinical and technical support during procedures as required
  • Stay current with product features, clinical applications, and competitive developments
  • Submit regular field reports on market trends, competitor activity, pricing, and customer feedback
  • Support the execution of market development strategies and local marketing initiatives
  • Complete all administrative tasks, including forecasts, activity logs, expense reporting, and account management in company systems

Qualifications

Candidates should hold a bachelor’s degree in any field, with preference given to those in biomedical engineering, nursing, or related disciplines. Prior experience in medical device sales or healthcare—ranging from entry-level to six years—is required. Strong business sense, initiative, and teamwork are essential. Fluency in both Korean and English, along with solid computer skills (especially MS Office), is expected. A valid driver’s license is mandatory.

Preference will be given to applicants with prior experience in surgical environments, electrophysiology (EP) devices, pacemakers, or implantable cardioverter-defibrillators (ICDs). Direct engagement with key clinical opinion leaders or scientific experts in cardiology is considered a significant advantage.

Work Environment

This is a field-based role centered in Seoul and Gyeonggi-do, with flexibility for occasional outstation assignments. The culture emphasizes collaboration, innovation, and purpose-driven work, supporting diverse perspectives and bold, practical problem-solving. Employees are encouraged to think like engineers—curious, analytical, and solution-focused.
