This 10-week internship begins on June 8, 2026, and concludes on August 14, 2026. As an intern, you will collaborate on active consulting engagements for energy sector clients, working directly on initiatives related to clean energy adoption, operational efficiency, technology integration, and strategic planning.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to real client projects with tangible outcomes and time-sensitive deliverables
- Take part in instructor-led and digital learning programs to build consulting and industry knowledge
- Engage in formal evaluation sessions midway and at the end of the internship
- Participate in a speaker series featuring industry professionals
- Collaborate with fellow interns on team-based assignments
- Attend networking events and corporate social responsibility activities
Qualifications
Candidates must be U.S. citizens or permanent residents eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship, now or in the future. F-1 and J-1 visa holders are not eligible. You must be enrolled in an accredited undergraduate or graduate program through Fall 2026 and expect to graduate by Summer 2027.
Preference is given to those living within 50 miles of a company or client office in California or Colorado. Ideal fields of study include Business, Data Science, Environmental Science, Economics, Engineering, Information Systems, Public Policy, Pre-law, or related disciplines.
Strong consideration will be given to applicants with an interest in energy systems, regulatory frameworks, sustainability, artificial intelligence, or management consulting. Experience in team environments producing high-quality reports or analyses in fast-paced settings is valuable. Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a genuine curiosity about the energy transition are essential.
Work Environment
This is an onsite role requiring presence at a core office or client location, with up to 10% travel expected. The work environment emphasizes collaboration, professional growth, and engagement across teams.
Compensation & Benefits
The salary range for this position is $59,000.00 to $98,000.00, with potential eligibility for a discretionary performance-based bonus.
