Wellington-based, you'll drive sales expansion and market penetration by advocating our surgical technologies to pivotal surgeons and clinical professionals. Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned: - Advocates and markets Medtronic's product portfolio within designated geographical regions and specific client accounts to achieve or surpass sales objectives - Accountable for cultivating, establishing, and reinforcing enduring partnerships with stakeholders, including distributors and healthcare practitioners - Responsible for identifying prospects, evaluating requirements, and delivering product services to maximize Medtronic's offerings' potential benefits - Facilitates and establishes educational initiatives regarding company products and services - Executes comprehensive market research encompassing customer and competitor landscapes - Implements and adapts market development strategies as necessary - Channels customer insights regarding new products or potential modifications to internal teams including R&D, Operations, and Marketing Required Knowledge and Experience: - High school diploma with 6+ years sales experience in devices, pharmaceuticals, or healthcare sectors - Comprehensive understanding of New Zealand's public and private hospital infrastructure - Solutions-oriented with exceptional cross-functional collaboration capabilities - Performance-driven with robust organizational and time-management skills, proficient in autonomous work environments - Capable of prioritization, multitasking, and performing effectively under pressure - Exceptional attention to procedural details - Advanced verbal and written communication proficiencies, articulating complex conceptual frameworks - Rapid skill acquisition and complex information assimilation - Advanced computer literacy, including comprehensive MS Office suite proficiency - Maintenance of valid driver's license Physical Job Requirements The aforementioned statements describe the fundamental nature and performance level associated with this role, acknowledging they do not constitute an exhaustive enumeration of all responsibilities and requisite competencies.
