Momentive Performance Materials is hiring a Territory Manager - SE Region, Construction Sealants (Remote)

About the Role

Momentive Performance Materials is hiring a Territory Manager to lead sales and margin growth for our GE Silicones Formulated Products Sealant Construction Business across the Southeastern U.S. This remote position requires you to build strong relationships with distributors and direct customers, track major construction projects, and coordinate efforts across architects, consultants, and contractors.

What You'll Do

  • Develop and execute a growth plan that includes direct and distributor sales activities.
  • Utilize knowledge of regional commercial construction projects and work with consultants, architects, engineers, general contractors, and subcontractors to secure multiple products.
  • Identify and win key relationships with consultants, architects, general contractors, and subcontractors, and coordinate activities between these contacts and our Distributors, Manufacturers' Representatives, and Field Technical Engineers.
  • Meet business growth expectations by developing new accounts, winning additional business with existing accounts, and selling new products.
  • Win inclusion in architectural firm specifications impacting projects in your region and coordinate others to support this initiative.
  • In coordination with the Construction Channel Leader, manage local Manufacturers Representative(s) to ensure they achieve strategic goals.
  • Perform administrative responsibilities including field reports, pricing, forecasting, professional written correspondence, and coordinating customer needs with Customer Service.
  • Conduct onsite job visits, investigations, and product testing, which may require riding in a man-lift or utilizing a swing stage on a high-rise building.
  • Generate written proposals and technical documents, prepare and deliver sales presentations, and demonstrate product capabilities persuasively.

What We're Looking For

  • A BS/BA degree and/or equivalent hands-on sales experience in sealants and construction.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience selling in a business-to-business role, preferably in the construction segment.
  • Strong technical capabilities with the ability to learn the technical language and processes of the construction industry.
  • Exceptional leadership, team building, account management, interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills with a proven track record of success.
  • The ability to understand performance differences between our product portfolio and competitive products.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills are a must.
  • Solid and efficient PC-based computer skills, including but not limited to Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • The ability to function effectively in a fast-paced, multitasking environment.
  • Willingness for extensive travel (50-60%) within the Southeastern USA.

Team & Environment

You will report to the Construction Channel Leader and coordinate efforts across Distributors, Manufacturers' Representatives, and Field Technical Engineers.

  • Compensation range: $93,000 - $136,400
