What You'll Do
As a Territory Manager, you will lead sales efforts across the New York and New Jersey markets, serving as the main point of contact for a network of tire dealers and distributors. You will ensure partners are informed about product launches, company initiatives, and policy updates while delivering consistent, high-quality support.
You'll gather market intelligence to understand competitive dynamics and customer needs, using insights to strengthen positioning and identify new business opportunities. Regular training sessions with dealer teams will help maintain product knowledge and service standards.
Performance tracking, reporting, and participation in industry events will support long-term growth goals. You will also represent the brand at trade shows and other key gatherings.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of five years of experience in outside sales
- Proven background in the automotive or tire industry
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel frequently (approximately 70% of time)
- Must reside in or be open to relocating to New York or New Jersey
- Strong computer skills for managing reports and customer data
