What You'll Do
In this role, you will lead sales initiatives for medical imaging technologies across Japan, targeting revenue growth and increased market presence. You’ll manage every stage of the sales process—from identifying prospects to closing deals—while ensuring accurate forecasting and pipeline updates in Salesforce (SFDC). Your efforts will focus on acquiring new clients and uncovering emerging opportunities in the medical field, contributing directly to strategic sales objectives.
Requirements
You should hold a bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience, along with at least five years of sales experience in the healthcare industry. Native-level fluency in Japanese is essential. Proven ability to communicate effectively, manage complex sales cycles, and maintain precise sales records is required. A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is necessary, and you must be comfortable with domestic travel ranging from 10% to 20%.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with medical device manufacturers or distributors is highly valued. Background supporting surgical or ophthalmic procedures can be advantageous. Proficiency in English, particularly for written communication and virtual training participation, is considered a plus.

Work Environment
This position operates remotely within Japan, with flexibility to work from home. The role reports to the Sales Manager based in Tokyo and may require periodic travel to key cities including Osaka, Nagoya, Fukuoka, and Sendai. Specific remote work guidelines will be shared during the interview process.
Compensation
Base salary is determined by experience and performance, with an annual review cycle. Additional sales incentives are available based on achievement.
