What You'll Do
As a Clinical Specialist in Cardiac Rhythm Management (CRM), you will deliver hands-on technical and clinical support across your assigned territory. After completing required training, you’ll perform device checks, assist with implant procedures, and provide troubleshooting for CRM systems. You’ll ensure accurate patient registration and maintain compliance with hospital documentation standards.
You’ll manage consignment and field inventory, keep programmers updated with current software, and support daily logistics to maintain consistent coverage. A key part of your role includes training physicians, hospital staff, and new team members on approved products and solutions. You’ll also collaborate with sales and district leadership to understand local market needs and identify opportunities to support business goals.
Requirements
- High School Diploma with at least 6 years of relevant healthcare, sales, or technical experience
- OR Associate’s Degree with 4 years of relevant experience
- OR Bachelor’s Degree with 2 years of relevant experience
- Experience involving complex math, science, computing, or mechanical concepts is required
- Valid driver’s license and active vehicle insurance
- Ability to drive up to 80% of the time within the territory
- Daily availability in the region to respond to urgent requests
- Willingness to work weekends, holidays, and approved weeknight on-call shifts
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with medical terminology and the medical device field
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting
- Proficiency with Microsoft applications and Salesforce.com
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Proven success building relationships across teams and levels
- Ability to meet credentialing requirements for hospital access

Work Environment
This is a remote-based role requiring residency within the assigned territory around Rochester, NY. You must be physically present daily to support unscheduled needs, with approximately 80% travel expected within the region. The position does not operate from a Medtronic facility but requires consistent local presence.
