As a Sales Representative in Neuroscience, you will deliver hands-on clinical and technical support to healthcare professionals and patients, primarily operating in East London with regular travel to Port Elizabeth. Your role is central to ensuring seamless integration and ongoing use of advanced medical technologies in real-world clinical settings.
What You'll Do
- Deliver clinical and technical guidance during procedures, product demonstrations, installations, and follow-up maintenance for Medtronic devices.
- Support sales teams and customer staff with application-specific technical knowledge and case planning.
- Conduct on-site training and consultation to strengthen relationships with healthcare providers and institutions.
- Coordinate weekly with fellow sales representatives to promote consistent adoption of new technologies.
- Manage consignment inventory in assigned accounts according to standard operating procedures.
- Maintain compliance with internal training platforms and CRM systems, including SFDC and Cornerstone.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience in trauma, orthopedics, or the medical device industry, with direct exposure in surgical environments.
- Medical background with proven familiarity in operating room settings.
- Strong communication skills and a professional, collaborative demeanor.
- Ability to lift up to 15 kg and work flexible hours, including weekends when necessary.
- Willingness to travel regularly between East London and Port Elizabeth, and occasionally beyond assigned regions for case support.
