EquipmentShare is hiring a Territory Account Manager to grow our customer base in Virginia Beach, VA. We're a people-first company on a mission to transform the construction industry through innovative technology and a dedicated team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for executing the full sales strategy to build lasting relationships with contractors and construction company principals.
What You'll Do
- Manage a geographical territory, executing the full sales strategy from market analysis and forecasting to pipeline management, revenue growth, contract negotiation, and customer retention.
- Quickly respond to inbound leads and requests using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems.
- Develop new business by building relationships with contractors and construction company principals, educating them on how EquipmentShare solves their problems.
- Maintain and nurture existing customer relationships to ensure satisfaction and keep them informed of new solutions.
- Promptly respond to and resolve customer inquiries, requests, complaints, and conduct sales presentations.
- Develop new sales strategies and techniques to increase market share and improve customer experience.
- Manage and support job site activities and projects with remote and on-site involvement.
- Assist with equipment rental, sales, and service when needed by customers on-site.

- Tenacious, innovative professional with superior outside sales experience and a proven sales track record.
- Ability to lift, carry, and place objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance.
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
- Technical aptitude to adapt to a fast pace and stay continuously educated on the latest products and services.
- Competitive, self-motivated, and results-driven, but thrives in a team-oriented environment.
- Ability to manage strategic and national accounts.
Nice to Have
- Heavy Construction Equipment or industry knowledge (rental or construction) with experience in B2B sales.
