Trane Technologies, a company creating innovative climate solutions for buildings, homes, and transportation, is looking for an Account Manager - Equipment. Your primary responsibility will be to develop and maintain customer relationships to ensure maximum revenues through strategic account penetration, including finding, generating, and developing new customers while retaining current ones.
What You'll Do
- Generate budgeted sales; manage mix and pricing to achieve margin goals and grow market share in assigned territory.
- Develop and execute an account specific business plan to identify the long term, mutual support requirements required to facilitate a strong, profitable, and successful partnership.
- Identify customers’ problems and/or needs and create a dynamic action plan designed to meet them.
- Ascertain market opportunities and market sales data.
- Attend sales meetings and report sales activity, new account development, services, promotion, etc.
- Perform daily territory travel required with some overnight travel.
What We're Looking For
- 4+ years of demonstrated experience in Business Development in lieu of degree or an Associate’s Degree (AA).
- Successful experience in Business Development and Sales.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license for a minimum of 12 months, with no major or frequent traffic violations included, but not limited to: DUI, Hit & Run, License Suspension, Reckless/Careless Driving or multiple smaller infractions or preventable collisions in the previous 3 years.
Nice to Have
- CRM/Salesforce experience is preferred.
Benefits & Compensation
- Base Pay Range: Starts at $70,000 and up based on experience. This position will include a 43% incentive opportunity.
