EquipmentShare is looking for a Territory Account Manager to grow our presence in Jacksonville, FL. You will be responsible for expanding our existing customer base by building relationships with contractors and construction company principals. This role manages the full sales strategy execution, from market analysis and pipeline management through contract negotiation and customer retention.
What You'll Do
- Manage a defined geographical territory.
- Execute the full sales strategy from market analysis, sales forecasting, pipeline management, and revenue growth through to contract negotiation and customer retention.
- Quickly respond to inbound leads and requests.
- Develop new business and acquire clients.
- Expand the existing customer base by building relationships with contractors and construction company principals.
- Educate customers on how EquipmentShare solves their problems.
- Maintain and nurture existing customer relationships to ensure 100% satisfaction.
- Promptly respond to and resolve customer inquiries, requests, complaints, or other communications.
- Conduct sales presentations to prospective and existing customers.
- Develop new sales strategies and techniques to increase market share and improve customer experience.
- Manage and support job site activities and projects with remote and on-site involvement.
- Assist with equipment rental, sales, and service when needed by customers on-site.
What We're Looking For
- Tenacious and innovative with superior outside sales experience and a proven sales track record.
- Ability to lift, carry, and place objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance.
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
- Technical aptitude to adapt to a fast pace and stay continuously educated on latest products and services.
- Competitive, self-motivated and results driven, but thrives in a team-oriented environment.
- Ability to manage strategic and national accounts.
Nice to Have
- Heavy Construction Equipment or Industry knowledge (rental or construction) with experience in B2B sales.
